Hi friends,

As you guys know, I can tend to use Facebook to write essays and a few people now have said that I should start a blog, so I have decided to do it! YAY 🙂

In a humble way, I want to share personally through my life journey what God is showing me and doing through me. I hope that it will encourage and empower you in some way in your own journey to be all that God created you to be and to experience and live the life He died to give you!

As you know I have a strong faith in God and everything I speak comes from a Biblical perspective. Hence I have called my blog- “Life in the vine”.

It has come from John 15:4: Live in me, and I will live in you. A branch cannot produce any fruit by itself. It has to stay attached to the vine. In the same way, you cannot produce fruit unless you live in me.

For me as a Christian, my life and everything that flows from it, stems from a personal relationship with Christ. For me the bible is my manual, Iam not just a Christian on Sundays and I do not make God an event. My perspective and purpose in life has dramatically changed and I believe and confess that Jesus Christ is my source of Life.  Because He lives in me and I in Him is why my life is producing fruit. He is the source of ALL Life – He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. This fruit that is produced will never perish. This fruit is eternal.

Please if you aren’t a believer don’t disregard this, but I pray that you can still take something from my blogs that may re-new your mind and bring you hope.

I just want to encourage you to be still and let God speak to your heart. You may be thinking ” But I’m praying and nothing is changing” but then as soon as you finish praying your back doing the same stuff! We so often limit God because we are so pre-occupied by the things of the world. Our hearts have hardened to God because we are not willing to put Him first, be still and hear His voice above all of the other junk that is vying for your attention. Turn the TV off and tune into God. 🙂

Today, if I can encourage you with one thing, make time for God. Don’t plan God around your day, plan your day around God. Make it a priority to pray and read, even if you just start with 10 minutes. Its so important that we are living from a place of being ‘in’ the vine. This is where all source of life is friends – in the vine. A personal relationship with God has changed my life! I have been healed and made whole from my past, I have been transformed from the inside out and my mind has been renewed with truth! This has set me free and I want to share this good news with you! God has a plan and a purpose for your life…do you believe that? Do you desire to know what it is?

Let me tell you, you weren’t an accident, or a mistake. God knows you more than you know.  He is very real and He is calling…

Until next time,

Your sister in Christ – Sam x
